My legs felt a little like lead today.  9 miles. 1hr 15min. 8:25 pace average.

 Ran with Mark and he kept me going when I was mentally wavering.  

 I'm on the 1/2 mark for training for St. George.  "I'm half way there...oh oh.. livin on a prayer..."

I pushed the stroller today in the humidity. We stopped at the playground and did the Happy Feet course.  The humidity ZAPS me!

attempted a tempo run at the track. no watch. I said it was "pace" but I'm not sure what pace it was!  hee hee.  kids only lasted a couple of miles before we had to leave. At least I am trying.

It was fun having Mark and Craig at the track with all the kiddies.  We packed the tents and tunnels for them to play in.  They also always love playing in the long jump pit and tires.. 

Why does running the opposite direction on the track always seems so much harder?

We ran at 1:20pm.  Hottest time of the day!  Lots of up hills.  This was a pace run but felt more like a tempo.  43.30, 8min. pace.

Tip from Aubree- when coming off a hill, count 30 steps before increasing your pace again.
